More recognitions to come

The first Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli met the President of Equatorial Guinea, Mr. Teodoro Obiang. The President promised that he would carefully analyze the situation of Kosovo in order to proceed with recognition. This word of assurance is very important because the Equatorial Guinea directs the African Union.   Mr. Pacolli continues his lobbying activities in Africa, and especially in the country of Sao Tome where Mr. Pacolli met its Prime Minister, Mr. Patrice Emery Trovoada and its Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Manuel Salvador Dos Ramos. These last ones have assured Mr. Pacolli that the procedure towards the recognition of Kosovo is on the right path.

The Republic of Cameroon

Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, the first Prime Minister of Kosovo, met Mr. Philémon Yang, the Prime Minister of Cameroun in its Capital, Yaoundé. Mr. Young gave his word that the Republic of Kosovo will be soon recognized as an independent and sovereign country.

Ivory Coast recognizes the Republic of Kosovo

Thanks to Mr. Pacolli’s lobbying activities, the Republic of Kosovo got recognized from Ivory Coast. It is the eighty-fourth country to recognize the sovereignty of Kosovo.

Mr. Pacolli has visited Ivory Coast in the summer and met its President, Mr. Alassane Ouattara newly during September in New York.

The numerous activities of Mr. Behgjet Pacolli in New York

While meeting the President of Guinea Conakry, Mr. Alpha Conde, was given thank you words by Mr. Pacolli for his commitment and lobbying efforts for the recognition of Kosovo.

Mr. Pacolli accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Mr. Enver Hoxhaj met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Gana, Mr. Alhaji Muhammad Mamuni and explained to him the necessity Kosovo has for recognitions and adding that such a step is in line with the International Court of Justice.

Mr. Pacolli met as well the President of Ivory Coast, Mr. Alassane Ouattara who explained that the recognition process is doing well and soon will be confirmed.

The diplomatic activites of Mr. Pacolli will lead to a meeting with the South African President, Mr. Jacob Zuma and the President of Eritrea, Mr. Isaias Afewerki.

Meeting with the US Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Clinton.

In the context of his diplomatic activities in the US, the Kosovo delegation, comprising the First Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli was received by the US Secretary of State, Mrs. Hilary Clinton.

Mrs. Clinton stressed that the United States will keep their commitment to help Kosovo on its path towards European integration.

Benin recognizes Kosovo

The first PM of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, by means of a press release confirms that Benin is hte 80th country to recognize the republic of Kosovo. The verbal note was handed to Mr. Pacolli by the President of Benin, Mr. Yayi Boni.

The Republic of Gabon recognizes Kosovo

Fourth African Tour
